Archaeological Atlas Hits Egyptian Schools

In the first move of its kind, the Ministry of Antiquities has collaborated with the Ministry of Education to enlighten our kids on our rich history.

With recent blows taken at the Ministry of Education, it's also good to acknowledge the occasional good step forward. In a recent move to give Egyptian kids some culture, an Archaeological Atlas will be given in schools for free, in a move that's the first of it's kind.

As tourists flock in from all over the world to savor our heritage and past civilisations, it seems that it is largely lost on us. Aside from the yearly optional trip to the pyramids, our students know little else about the rich history of our land.

The project is collaboration between the Ministry of Antiquities and the Ministry of Education.
