Featuring Egypt and the world's finest squash champions.
With all eyes are on AFCON'19, we tend to sometimes forget about the one sport in which Egypt is a world superpower; squash. With its players dominating ranks of world's top squash players, Egypt is cementing that status by hosting the latest PSA Squash Tournament, which just kicked off on Sunday and is set to run through to this Friday at Marakez Egypt's The Park over at Mall of Arabia, the 8-acre ultimate family destination over at Sheikh Zayed, complete with exquisite cuisine, kids entertainment zones, and the city's hottest hangout spots.
Featuring sixteen Egyptian and international players, the tournament, which is primarily sponsored by Marakez Egypt, sees the game's most accomplished names take to the court in a series of fierce clashoffs, featuring powerhouses Raneem El Welily, Nour Sherbini, Aly Farrag, and Mohamed Elshorbagy. Airing on OnTV throughout, the tournament will be held in a spectacular 900-seat court.
The best part? With the exception of the semi-finals and grand finale this weekend, access to the tournament is free of charge. One just needs to show up to enjoy the world-class competition and root for the one-too-many Egyptian champions!
