Brought to you all the way from Turkey, Mer"s Jewellery has been making its stride in the Egyptian Market for over three years now, one gorgeous piece of jewellery at a time.
Turquoise, seashells, starfish and water droplets; Mer"s Jewellery's latest SS19 collection is an ode to nature, the beach and the seaside - and a rather chic one at that. Having first brough the Turkish brand to Egypt three years ago, Nermine Ayesh's latest offering comes in the form of rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings, in gold-plated true silver.
"The pieces borrow motifs and shapes from nature and the seaside, encapsulating them in Mer"s unique design sensibility," Ayesh told Cairoscene, adding that the collection's pieces can be either layered together or styled individually, and still maintain a strong statement.
"The Egyptian market has shown great interest in our products and designs, where we've had a few best seller pieces " Ayesh further elaborated, adding that customers appreciate the artisinal quality behind Mer"s pieces.
"Seeing such good response from the market, we're currently working on opening our second store in Zamalek, and possibly another one in 6th of October." Eager we were as Ayesh further dished about her expansion plans for Merr"s franchise, and the brand's artistanal-quality jewellery that seems to always catch an eye or two, or three.
